Waggeryd Cell is a BCTMP producer owned by the ATA Group, a major Swedish producer of sawn timber. The very latest process technology makes Waggeryd Cell leading in quality and efficiency. The raw material is wood chips, mainly from sawmills belonging to the ATA Group.
Waggeryd Cell has a net turnover of approximately 1 billion SEK. The main part of the production is exported. The pulp is transported by container trains to export ports. During the last few years the production has gradually increased from 55,000 to 200,000 tonnes per year. The company has 48 employees, producing more than 4,200 tonnes per year and employee.
